At the presentation of the iPhone 12, Apple did not just talk about new opportunities for using their devices within the same family. So, one of the innovations in watchOS 7 is the "Study Time" mode. And they made it so that the child during the lessons was less distracted by different notifications - he himself limits the work of some Apple Watch functions during school hours. In fact, this is such an advanced Do Not Disturb mode with which parents can be sure that their child is learning and not digging through their watches.
If you do connect your child's watch to your iPhone, you can set up Study Time.
- Open the Watch app on iPhone.
- Click All Hours, select a watch under Family Hours.
- Select Done, then tap Study Time.
- Turn on the mode and tap Change Schedule.
- Select the days and times to activate Study Time on your watch.
- Tap Add Time if you want to set multiple intervals within the same day, for example, from 8:00 to 12:00 and then from 13:00 to 15:00.
